Friday The 13th: A Night with The Cool Kids & Mos def

FRIDAY THE 13th: A NIGHT WITH THE COOL KIDS and MOS DEF from Creative Control on Vimeo.

What at first look seems to be random footage of artists hanging out in a recording studio is in fact the first public glimpse at Dame Dash’s new Lower Manhattan art gallery/studio compound, called DD172. It is also the same compound Dash’s latest musical venture, the already critically acclaimed BlakRoc-Project, has been created. The Creative Control produced footage which serves as a teaser for an upcoming film project by Michael Sterling Eaton. Even if the subject of the project remains unclear, it becomes more than obvious that we will hear some real interesting music emerging from this venue in the near future as talented artists like The Cool Kids, Mos Def, Black Keys, Jay Electronica and many more seem to be quite fond of this place. The BlakRoc Project is out now! via:hypebeast
